Anybody who lived in Montreal in the 1980's and 1990's and who watched French TV might remember the often broadcasted commercial for a French perfume in which you see a woman open a window and yell "égoïste!" (selfish!), then the camera backs up until you see that window and a few others around it and they all open at the same time with women yelling the same, and so on, with very dramatic music. This picture reminded me of that.
