Year of the Rooster

Somerset Street, Chinatown, Ottawa.
Chinatown in Ottawa is very small compared to Montreal's, which is much smaller than it used to be. Ottawa's Chinatown surprised me though with plenty of delightful "Kodak Moments". All the lamp posts had flags such as this one. Each introduces to bypassers the business in front of it, in this case Mekong Restaurant, and has a reproduction of a child's drawing of the rooster.
